I’m a San Francisco storyteller and award-winning journalist whose writing has appeared in the Boston Globe, KQED and the San Francisco Chronicle. As a culture reporter for The San Francisco Standard, I published nearly 400 pieces exploring all aspects of the city. In addition to freelancing, I am working on two nonfiction book projects that emerged from my reporting: Facade: The Devastating Truth of Urban Renewal in San Francisco’s Western Addition (a historical narrative with images from the Burden Archive) and Finding Lochakov (a creative nonfiction book about San Francisco’s most intriguing art mystery).
